立足于对陈白沙诗歌的研究，本文总结出诗化哲学的诸多特点。一是作者以为诗哲同源，皆源于形而上者，也都指向形而上者。二是植根于哲学经典，使用旧有的概念和典故。第三个特点是诗歌常被哲学家用来吟咏人生境界、人格气象，表述自己的人生哲学。诗化哲学也有其表达方式，如使用哲学概念、义理典故、道喻，关切哲学问题，进行诗文互证。另外，白沙更有歌诗工夫，以音声、韵律通达先天之境，这是中国诗化哲学萌发的秀丽枝桠。
